          Mangrove forests are among the most productive ecosystems that are important for the sustenance of humanity and the survival of aquatic species. It is also essential because of the Carbon Capture Sequestration (CCS) that is crucial in reducing carbon emissions in the atmosphere and assisting in the battle against climate change. In line with this, environmentalists are fond of getting involved with mangrove tree plantings to propagate and sustain the mangrove plantations. This was carried out to provide first-hand information about the study areas to help in assisting the goals of the actions in developing and rehabilitating healthier mangrove forests.
